FIFA ruled out possibility of moving World Cup final due to forest fires in Canada
FIFA's position remains unchanged.

FIFA confirmed that it has no intention of postponing the final match of the 2026 World Cup, despite smoke in the New York and New Jersey area due to forest fires in Canada, Bloomberg reports.
Reports had previously emerged about a possible postponement of the final, which is supposed to feature the national teams of Spain and Argentina, however, this does not align with the federation's current position.
FIFA emphasizes that in the event of a threat to the health of tournament participants, approved protocols are in place to allow for a quick assessment of the situation and a decision on adjusting the format of matches.
FIFA's position remains unchanged: the postponement of the 2026 World Cup final is not planned.
The Spain — Argentina match will take place tomorrow, July 19, at the stadium in New Jersey (USA). Kick-off is at 10:00 PM Minsk time.
The third-place match: England — France, will be held today at midnight.
