Man took dog from a store to care for it — and got a criminal case
A resident of Minsk saw a purebred Spitz in a store, apparently left unattended.
The man decided to take the Spitz and later brought it to his wife. However, it turned out that at the same time, the pet's true owner had already contacted the police, according to "Minsk Police".
According to the woman, she left the Spitz in the store's vestibule when she went shopping. Upon returning, she discovered that the animal was gone. By the way, the pet's value was 2000 rubles.
Later, a 45-year-old resident of Minsk was detained on suspicion of theft.
"That evening he also went to the store and noticed a stranger's dog left unattended. After making his purchases, the man took the Spitz on his way back and brought it to his wife. He explained his action by saying that he took the dog 'to care for it,'” the police shared the details.
As a result, the Spitz was returned to its true owner. A criminal case for theft has been initiated against the resident of Minsk.
