A Belarusian saw a local brand's logo in Italy that strongly reminded him of his homeland
Sometimes Belarusian goods can be found in European stores. However, few expect to see references to popular national brands in remote corners of foreign countries. Such an unexpected encounter happened to Ivan, a guest of the Italian city of Imola, about which he shared on his Threads page, writes the publication Blizko.by.
The guy noticed a poster with hair care cosmetics. In the brand's name, there was a noticeable letter that almost every Belarusian recognizes without any difficulty.
«Somewhere in the Italian backwoods, they were inspired by "Belita",» the author captioned the photo.
In reality, however, there is no plagiarism. Originally, "Belita-Vitex" was a joint production of the BSSR and Italy, established in 1989. The partner from the Italian side was the GVF enterprise. It is to them that the It&ly Hairfashion line belongs, whose characteristic ornate letter in red and green colors became the connecting link in the new brand.
