10,710 Belarusian students were enrolled in Polish higher education institutions during the winter semester of the 2025/2026 academic year (as of December 31, 2025). This was stated in the official response of Andrzej Szeptycki, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Poland, to a relevant request from Pavel Latushka, Deputy Head of the United Transitional Cabinet and Head of the National Anti-Crisis Management, reported by the UTC Telegram channel.

According to the information provided, most Belarusians studied at the University of Warsaw — 490 people.

Also among the leaders are Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin — 486, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań — 453, Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology — 405, and Jagiellonian University in Krakow — 391.

In addition, at least 566 Belarusian students are pursuing education in medical universities in Poland, and 54 Belarusian scientists and researchers work in Polish academic institutions.

Pavel Barkouski, representative of the UTC for national revival, noted that the large number of Belarusian students in Poland indicates that many young people and their parents choose quality European education instead of ideologized schooling in Belarus:

“The number of our students in individual universities in Poland creates large communities, from which, we want to believe, will emerge those people who will later return to change Belarus. On the other hand, unfortunately, we also observe a negative trend — a decrease in the number of Belarusian students over the last year, which resulted from changes in the admission campaign conditions. I hope, however, that this will not have a long-term effect in the future,” he said.

Гаворка пра тую самую Польшчу, у якой людзі галадаюць, паўсюдна русафобія і ўсё горш жывецца? Прынамсі калі пачытаць што пішуць лукашысты і ім падобныя.
