In accordance with the transport electrification concept for 2025–2030, the capital plans to renew 164 transport units and convert about 15 bus routes to trolleybus service, reported Yury Supranovich, director of the "Stalichny Transport i Suvyaz" (Capital Transport and Communications) enterprise.

On weekdays, about 1500 vehicles and approximately 300 express routes currently operate daily on Minsk lines. In total, the city has 296 routes that require constant adjustment and optimization.
Raman Pranovych, Deputy General Director of "Minsktrans" for transport organization, noted that about half of Minsk's vehicles are environmentally friendly and run on electric traction.
This fleet includes over 700 trolleybuses, 60% of which already have an extended autonomous range, 131 trams, and 147 electrobuses.
