In Raubichi, a man went to the sauna and died from carbon monoxide poisoning
In Raubichi, a man died in a sauna, poisoned by carbon monoxide. The incident occurred in June 2026 in the Minsk region. The body of a 27-year-old man was found in the sauna on the territory of a private household, writes the State Forensic Examination Committee.

The man decided to heat the sauna and left the house, but did not return. His father, concerned by his son's long absence, went to look for him. Opening the sauna door, he saw his son there without signs of life.
The examination showed that death occurred as a result of fatal carbon monoxide poisoning. The inspection did not reveal any malfunctions in the sauna at the time it was being heated.
Specialists remind that carbon monoxide is extremely dangerous because it has no color, taste, or smell. Entering the bloodstream, it blocks oxygen transport, which can lead to death.
