President Gitanas Nausėda announced that, according to available information, the drone shot down in Lithuania was a "Gerbera" type drone. He stated this after a meeting of the State Defense Council, writes Radior - "News of Lithuania".
According to the preliminary version, it was not intentionally aimed against Lithuania: it is likely that the Russian drone was intended for an attack on Ukraine, but under the influence of Ukrainian electronic warfare means, it deviated from its course and flew into Lithuania.
The electronic components of the device are still being investigated.
