«This is a diary entry addressed to those who abuse their power, as well as the author's inability to tolerate it any longer.»

The band Dlina Volny has released its first Belarusian-language track. The song is called «Vočy» (Eyes).
«This track is our first release in Belarusian. We have been performing this song in our native language for several years, and it seemed to us that the time has finally come to properly release this version to the world. This is a diary entry addressed to those who abuse their power, as well as the author's inability to tolerate it any longer,» — the band describes on social media.
The song was first released in Russian under the title «Glaza» (Eyes) as part of the compilation «Long Play Belarus» in November 2020.
«It remains as relevant today as it was then. We still live in a constant stream of information, trying not to drown under the weight of lies, hypocrisy, and injustice, clinging to the truth and striving to stay afloat,» — the band reflects.
The band formed in 2016 in Minsk. It creates music in the genres of new wave, post-punk, synth-pop.
