Released political prisoners deported to Ukraine were not given their passports

At least some political prisoners only have a certificate of release.

Released political prisoners who were taken to Ukraine say they were not given their passports.

"We were issued a certificate of release — it's an A4 paper with our photo, information that we are being released, and certain passport data," said human rights activist Ulad Labkovich.
