“Just in the past day, from 7:00 on December 18 to 7:00 on December 19, several bank cards, a bag with a laptop and documents, travel and student tickets, a passport, a fabric catalog, a case with headphones, and some other items were found in the metro,” the press service reports.
On the evening of December 18, one of the passengers found a wallet in the pedestrian underpass at the "Kamennaya Horka" metro station, containing a driver's license and 1675 rubles.
“All this was dutifully handed over by an honest person to the security service inspector of the subway,” the enterprise noted.
On the same day, one of the passengers found 100 rubles in the vestibule of the metro station and also handed them over to the security guard.
“Many such cases occur during the year,” the press service emphasized. “We are very grateful to all our passengers who facilitate the return of items and funds to those who ‘lost’ them. This is very decent and worthy.”
In addition, the enterprise expressed gratitude to colleagues from various structural subdivisions — primarily, the security service, traffic service, track and tunnel facilities service, who daily find various items and material valuables in the metro. They hand them over in the established manner to the relevant employees who process these finds and ensure their temporary storage.
The metro administration drew passengers' attention: if someone has lost something on the territory of metro facilities, they should call the enterprise's hotline (open daily from 8:00 to 20:00) at the city number: (+375 17) 383-83-83. Employees will try to help if such items have been found by other passengers or subway workers.
