Minister of Communications promised to quadruple mobile internet speed in 5 years
In the next five years, the average mobile internet speed in Belarus will increase by approximately four times. This was announced by Minister of Communications and Informatization Kiryl Zaleski during a meeting of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, writes BelTA.

According to the official, the ministry takes into account citizens' wishes regarding the improvement of both fixed and mobile communication quality. As one of the steps in the new stage of digitalization, Zaleski noted that before the start of the meeting, the first 5G mobile communication zone had already been launched in the center of Minsk, using 5G technology.
The Minister emphasized that the course towards building a digital state is laid out in the country's Socio-Economic Development Program for 2026-2030. In his opinion, the digital agenda of the next five-year period will form the basis for Belarus's development as a modern and technologically advanced state.
