Dome removed from Minsk Planetarium's observatory

The Minsk Planetarium is awaiting reconstruction.

Its dome was removed; instead, a new dome will be installed with 360° rotation capability and special shutters. It will be designed and manufactured in Moscow, writes Blizko.by.

Currently, for the new dome, builders will reinforce the columns and pour a monolithic belt.

And this is how the planetarium itself will look.
