Kubrakov announced the deportation figures for foreigners from Belarus for 2025
Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakov summarized the results of migration policy for the current year. According to him, despite the country's "openness and benevolence," strict measures are applied to violators of the law.

The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ivan Kubrakov, stated that approximately 3,000 foreign citizens were deported from Belarus in 2025. He declared that the country pursues an open migration policy but requires visitors to comply with its laws.
According to Kubrakov, foreigners are not immediately expelled: after the first violation, a warning is issued, and only in the event of a repeat incident is the person obliged to leave the republic.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs also notes a significant increase in labor migration. In the first nine months of 2025, the number of foreigners who came to the country for work increased by one and a half times compared to last year — from 21 thousand to 32 thousand people. Over the past five years — by more than threefold.
