Belkoopsoyuz Demonstrates Its Patriotism Through "Dranik of the Central Region"
Belkoopsoyuz announced that it is joining the initiative of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade, which provides for holding a Day of Belarusian Language and Domestic Goods every Friday. As part of this campaign, in many public catering establishments of Belkoopsoyuz, visitors will be offered a special dish on Fridays — "Dranik of the Central Region."

According to the organization's announcement, the draniki will be prepared from the freshest potatoes, purchased directly from residents of the Minsk region. The portion promises to be hearty: 150 grams of draniki and 50 grams of sour cream. The cost of such a dish will be 2 rubles 99 kopecks.
The "Dranik of the Central Region" can be tasted in Belkoopsoyuz establishments located in the Minsk region — hence the name of the dish.
The initiative is part of the "Every Friday — Native, Our Own" campaign, which the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MARG) launched back in December 2025. It is aimed at popularizing Belarusian goods: residents of the country are encouraged to buy local products, wear domestically produced clothing and footwear, and also use the Belarusian language.
Deputy Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Oleg Dikun called on both producers and retail chains, as well as buyers, to join the campaign. Businesses are expected to offer special "national" discounts on Fridays, while consumers are encouraged to make active purchases and post on social media with the thematic hashtag #DayOfNativeOurOwn.
