Accident on heating main in Minsk: residents of five districts may be left with cold batteries
According to energy officials, due to damage to the main pipeline, the temperature in Minsk residents' homes began to drop, and utility services switched to emergency operation mode.
Heating problems affected Frunzensky, Moskovsky, Tsentralny, Sovetsky, and Oktyabrsky districts.
Minskenergo confirmed the fact of damage to the heating main but did not specify the causes of the incident. At the moment, specialists are trying to restore the temperature and hydraulic regimes.
Energy officials assure that they are carrying out restoration work at the maximum possible pace, but the exact timing of the return of heat to homes has not yet been named.
