Belarusians arrested in Phuket for running illegal car rental

Two Belarusian citizens have been arrested in Phuket on charges of illegal business activities, reports Infotrans Media Belarus.

According to police, they were operating an unlicensed car rental business, using Thai citizens as nominal partners, and renting out cars without checking driver's licenses.

Such practices contributed to an increase in road accidents and are a serious violation of Thai law.
