Belarus ranks 73rd in terms of the number of citizens living abroad.
Ukraine ranks 4th in the world in terms of the number of emigrants: about 9.8 million citizens live outside the country, which corresponds to 25.8% of the population. Russia is in 5th place with an indicator of 9.1 million people, with an emigrant share of 6.3%.

Poland ranks 15th — 4.6 million Poles live abroad, or 11.9% of the population. Lithuania is in 105th place: 459,300 people live outside the country, which makes up 16.1% of the population. Latvia ranks 133rd — 161,000 citizens are abroad, or 8.6% of the population.
Globally, the leaders in the number of citizens living abroad remain India (18.5 million), China (11.7 million), and Mexico (11.6 million).
