Trump pulled a powerful armada to Iran's shores and is now deciding what to do with it
Donald Trump now has a powerful military fist at his disposal in the Middle East. The American president is currently deciding how to use it: to destroy nuclear facilities, bomb missile arsenals, or attempt to completely overthrow the ayatollahs' regime, writes WSJ.

U.S. naval forces, including the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, have already taken positions from which they can strike any point in Iran. Heated debates are ongoing in the White House about further steps.
Trump is demanding options from his advisors for a swift and decisive attack that would not escalate into a protracted war but would force Tehran to comply with Washington's demands.
The administration is considering several scenarios, the publication writes.
These include a large-scale bombing campaign targeting Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) facilities and key infrastructure; pinpoint strikes: an attack on nuclear centers and missile depots; and regime change in Iran.
Trump himself speaks in his characteristic style. Commenting on the concentration of ships, he stated: "They have to float somewhere. So let them float near Iran."
What's the risk?
Military experts warn: there are no easy solutions. Iran, though weakened, can still respond with massive drone and missile attacks on American bases and allies, particularly Israel.
Furthermore, the question of "the day after" remains. Secretary of State Marco Rubio acknowledges: no one knows exactly what will happen to the country if Ali Khamenei leaves. There is a high probability that even more radical IRGC generals will seize power.
For now, Trump is pausing and maintaining ambiguity, using the threat of force as leverage for diplomatic pressure. Tehran has already declared its readiness for negotiations but demands an end to military threats.
