Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, speaking at the Munich Security Conference, stated that not a single undamaged power plant remains in the country, Bild writes.
"There is not a single power plant in Ukraine that has not been damaged by Russian attacks. Not a single one," he emphasized.
According to Zelenskyy, in January alone, Ukraine repelled attacks by about 6,000 drones, over 150 missiles, and more than 5,000 guided aerial bombs.
The Ukrainian President called the state of air defense a matter of survival. At the same time, Zelenskyy thanked countries that support Kyiv "not only with words but also with deeds," specifically highlighting assistance from Germany, Norway, and the Netherlands, as well as weapon supplies from the USA.
"I am proud of our country. It is the courage and resilience of Ukrainians that are crucial. For this, Ukrainians deserve gratitude and respect," he stated to applause from the audience.
Separately, Zelenskyy criticized the Iranian leadership for supplying drones to Russia. According to him, Ukraine is not in conflict with Iran, but it is Iranian drones that are used for attacks on Ukrainian cities.
