Toddler sustained severe head injuries after smartphone fell

The unfortunate incident happened in Brest. A two-year-old girl approached her mother asking her to turn on cartoons on the phone.

She was holding the phone above her head, couldn't hold onto the gadget, and the smartphone fell directly onto her head.

The frightened mother, noticing the child's injuries, immediately sought medical help.

During the examination, the girl was found to have a closed head injury and a fracture of the parietal bone.

According to the conclusion of an expert from the State Forensic Examination Committee's department, this bodily injury was classified as severe.
