According to preliminary investigation data, in the afternoon of June 30, a 60-year-old man felt unwell near house No. 9 on Bahdana Khmelnytskaha Street. He asked a random passer-by to call an ambulance, stating that he had a lung disease.
After some time, the man started bleeding from his mouth, after which he lost consciousness. Medics who arrived at the scene performed resuscitation measures, but could not save him — his death was pronounced.
Videos showing blood on the asphalt and the work of an ambulance crew were mistakenly signed by internet users as evidence of a BNTU student's suicide. Investigators state that this does not correspond to reality.
Regarding the man's death, the Savetski District Department of the Investigative Committee of Minsk is conducting a verification. A forensic medical examination has also been appointed to determine the exact cause of death.
