Mobile operators provided free roaming for Belarusians stuck in the Middle East
Belarusian mobile companies A1, Life, and MTS announced the introduction of free minutes and internet for subscribers located in Middle Eastern countries amid a difficult situation and air travel restrictions, reports Office Life.

Life provides a bonus package: 2 GB of internet and 20 minutes of calls within the country of stay and to Belarus. The package is valid for three days and is intended for maintaining communication with relatives and emergency services.
A1 provides a free mobile internet package in a number of countries in the region, including the UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Israel, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Qatar. Subscribers who used roaming from February 27 to March 2 and did not activate special packages will automatically receive a free "Roaming 1.5 GB" package for seven days. This is communicated via SMS.
MTS announced the nullification of call costs for subscribers in the United Arab Emirates. Free incoming and outgoing calls within the country and to Belarus are available. The free mode will be active until March 15. For those who used voice communication since February 28, the company will recalculate charges.
