The son of the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Mojtaba Khamenei, was wounded during one of the attacks, according to Al Hadath TV channel.
Mojtaba Khamenei, 56, is considered the most likely candidate for the position of Supreme Leader of Iran. According to some reports, his candidacy is currently being promoted by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
