A sixth child was born to the family of Olga and Anatoly Astapovich from Lelchitsy district. The parents decided to give the girl an unusual name.

It was chosen for almost a month. The one they settled on was revealed by the Main Department of Justice of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee.
Angelica, Nadezhda, Amira, and Sonya were on the list of potential names. Initially, the father wanted to choose a name starting with the letter "A" so that it would match the girl's surname and patronymic.
But in the end, he suggested naming his daughter Rizida. For the family, the name turned out to be quite common — that's what one of the grandmothers, originally from Bashkortostan, is called.
Not all relatives approved of the idea, but the meaning of the name influenced the final decision. Translated from Arabic, Rizida means "queen". The girl became the second daughter in a large family. The mother affectionately calls the little one Rozachka (Little Rose).
