"The level of enthusiasm matters to me." Trump mentioned countries that do not want to help him in the Strait of Hormuz
U.S. President Donald Trump said that some countries are not enthusiastic about helping unblock the Strait of Hormuz, and reiterated a call for such support, Reuters writes .

Donald Trump noted that among the countries that have received U.S. protection for many years, there are some that have not shown particular eagerness to participate in the current war, started by the U.S. and Israel in Iran.
"Someone is very enthusiastic about this, and someone is not. Among them are countries that we have helped for many, many years. We protected them from terrible external threats, but they have not shown particular enthusiasm. And the level of enthusiasm matters to me," Trump said during an event at the White House.
Earlier, Trump warned that NATO faces a "very bad future" if allies do not help restore passage through the strategically important strait, which was effectively blocked by Iran after American-Israeli strikes.
Some European countries, however, refused to participate in this mission. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated that London is working with partners on a common plan to unblock ship movement, but not within NATO. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius rejected Trump's demand for joint protection of the strait, and Spain also refused to participate in this operation.
