At a petrol station near Minsk, a robot barista pours coffee. How convenient is it?
At one of the "A-100" filling stations in the Navadvorski rural council near Minsk, a vending machine with a robot barista appeared. It makes coffee itself and even draws latte art on the foam. Inside the installation, there is a coffee machine, a device for drawing pictures, and a mechanical arm that performs the entire process — from placing the cup to serving the drink, writes pristalica.by.

The menu doesn't have many options: americano, latte, cappuccino, espresso, and flat white, as well as a chocolate drink. The user can choose sugar, temperature, strength, and even a drawing on the foam.

Journalists asked the robot barista to prepare a latte and chocolate. The coffee is prepared in approximately two minutes, with the process itself looking like a small show. The latte art turned out neat, but the drink itself tasted ordinary, like from a vending machine. The chocolate, on the other hand, was more enjoyable — it turned out rich and pleasant.

Among the drawbacks, they noted the complex and overloaded menu — many settings that are not immediately clear, and sometimes it's simpler to order coffee from a human barista.

The price of all drinks is the same — 6.50 rubles, payment is made at the petrol station's cash register. The volume is about 240 ml.

Ultimately, it is noted that overall this is an interesting experience and entertainment, but for those looking for truly high-quality coffee, it's better to choose regular coffee shops.
