On the afternoon of April 14, a "Fregat" motorized hang glider crashed near the village of Aziarco in the Minsk district. Two people died as a result of the incident – a 45-year-old pilot and a 26-year-old passenger, reported the Investigative Committee.

According to preliminary data, the pilot lost control of the aircraft during the flight. Witnesses reported that after gaining altitude, the hang glider began to fall sharply.
The circumstances of the accident are currently being investigated.

After the catastrophe, investigators from the Minsk district department and the regional department of the Investigative Committee are working at the scene. They are inspecting the area, documenting traces of the incident using a mobile forensic laboratory and specialists.
