The presence of bears was recorded in the area of Babin Les, Tadulin, near the testing ground and Minsk National Airport, as well as in the vicinity of Shemetava village and on the Usyazhskoye floodplains.
Residents of Zialiony Bor also shared photos of bears from camera traps and videos of animal tracks in the surrounding forests.
Recently, one of the club-footed animals was spotted in a field on the border of Aziarytska-Slabadski and Usyazhski rural councils. A local resident shared a photograph with the editorial office.
According to the hunting expert, more frequent encounters with bears do not necessarily mean that there are more animals.

— There are many mushroom pickers in the forest, and bears are afraid of people, so they move from place to place, — explained Alexander Yanchevsky.
According to the specialist, hunters also sometimes talk about encounters with bears. The hunting season for wild boars, moose, deer, and roe deer is now open, so people are in the forest more often.
The hunting expert himself, who regularly goes out at night with a thermal imager, has not yet personally encountered a bear.
What to do if you encounter a bear
- — do not shout or try to scare the animal away;
- — do not make sudden movements;
- — do not approach the animal;
- — calmly start moving away in the opposite direction;
- — give the bear an opportunity to leave.
The main thing is not to panic and not to try to scare the club-footed animal away by yourself. The animal, as a rule, tries to avoid meeting humans.
