A Belarusian Woman Released a Book Introducing Art History Through Cats

In this book, masterpieces of art are presented in two versions — original and feline, writes Reform.news.

Artist Yuliya Stratovich's book Cat Art Story helps children and adults in an easy, playful way to get acquainted with famous works of world art — from prehistoric rock paintings to symbolism, to see the author's interpretations through cats and to complete additional tasks for greater engagement.

Yuliya Stratovich was born in Belarus into a family of artists. From an early age, she was surrounded by art and began drawing animals — a theme that accompanies her work to this day.

Yuliya lives in Warsaw, where for several years she managed her own gallery and continues to regularly present her works in Europe. In addition to her artistic practice, which includes painting, installations, and cinema, she also organizes lectures on art history.
