Katsiaryna Vadanosava Explained Why She Left Latushka's Electoral Block
The journalist explained on her Facebook page the reasons for withdrawing her candidacy in the elections to the Coordination Council.

"The reason is related to one of my jobs [Katsiaryna cooperates with Belsat and Budzma — NN]. I was a member of the Coordination Council of the previous convocation, my term will end soon, but this time one of my employers (and I have several jobs, as you probably know) informed me that my participation in any kind of political activity could be perceived negatively, and I could be accused of bias and involvement.
Since I have never used my official position as an instrument of influence, and also because I believe that such (even hypothetical) accusations could affect my dignity and reputation, I am forced to withdraw my candidacy from the electoral list," she wrote.
Katsiaryna also thanked Pavel Latushka for the fact that her mother was not taken to Lithuania but remained in Poland.
"True, she later died, unable to withstand the stress, and they almost "hung" (excuse my slang) the bill for her resuscitation and surgery on me, but, again, thanks to the fact that Pal Palych (Pavel Latushka) spoke about my case again and again, made a precedent out of it, publicized it, and talked with people who have influence on the decisions of the UDSC, I managed to prove that mom was insured at the time of her death and avoid enormous expenses "for the death" of my mother, and the money collected through Bysol was successfully directed to another charity. Therefore, I have great respect and gratitude for my (already former) colleagues on the electoral list, and I also respect and thank the candidates from all lists, knowing what an ungrateful and heavy burden they take upon their shoulders," she wrote.
