Currently, the power system personnel are working to restore heat supply modes for consumers, writes BelTA.
As of 13:00, restoration work is being carried out on 5 10 kV power transmission lines in 18 settlements, mainly in Vitebsk, Liozna, Orsha, and Dubrovno districts. 44 emergency brigades, 151 workers, and 52 units of equipment have been deployed to eliminate the consequences of the bad weather.
If necessary, additional personnel and specialized equipment will be promptly involved.
RUE "Vitebskenergo" has taken all necessary measures for prompt restoration of power supply while observing safety requirements. Reserve power sources have also been prepared.
Vitebskenergo reminds that damaged power lines, especially broken wires, pose a mortal danger, and it is strictly forbidden to approach them. All such cases must be immediately reported to emergency services by phone at 115 and 144.
