In Krāslava, Ludza, and Rēzekne districts on the border with Belarus and Russia, an air raid alert was declared in the morning; later, the airspace threat passed, writes Delfi.lv.

The Latvian Ministry of Defence reported that the National Armed Forces, together with NATO allies, constantly monitor the airspace to ensure the ability to immediately react to a potential threat. The NAF have strengthened air defence capabilities on the eastern border by deploying additional units there.
Yesterday, on Tuesday, notifications about a possible threat in the airspace were sent out in eastern Latvia. Later, the National Armed Forces stated that one drone had flown into the country's territory.
