Belarusians can now buy goods on Wildberries on credit. Users have access to sums from 50 to 15 thousand rubles. The buyer can choose the repayment period within 13 to 60 months (5 years), writes Tochka.by.
"This will allow buyers to purchase expensive goods with a comfortable payment schedule and better manage their family budget, and for marketplace sellers, it will increase the average check and order conversion," commented Georgy Garshkov, head of Wildberries fintech.
What is the interest rate
The bank "Dabrabyt" provides credit to buyers. The bank clarified that the rate is fixed — 24%.
"For Belarus, credit is a long-standing and familiar part of financial culture. We simply added this habit to where people already enjoy shopping — on Wildberries… We are consistently expanding opportunities for our buyers — to make it as convenient as possible for them at all stages, from searching for a product to choosing a financial solution for payment," noted Dmitry Semenkov, director of Wildberries in Belarus.
To purchase an item on credit, the buyer needs to select a loan from "Dabrabyt" bank on the payment page.
After this, the system will redirect the user to a secure bank page, where the identification process takes place.
To apply for a loan, you need to authenticate through the Interbank Identification System (IIS).
The service is well adapted for marketplace purchase scenarios: in case the product does not fit, the buyer can refuse it, as usual.
At the same time, obligations under the loan agreement will be recalculated or closed, the Wildberries press service clarified.
