Design of the 'Kavalskaya Slabada' metro station recognized as the best at a competition in Russia
300 applications were submitted to the competition.

The International Exhibition-Competition 'Creative City-2026' was held in Irkutsk. The exhibition featured artistic, design, and research works by authors from Russia, China, and Belarus.
In the 'Interiors — Space of Identity and Creativity' nomination, the team of creators of the 'Kavalskaya Slabada' metro station's appearance of the Minsk Metro received the Grand Prix, reports the Minsk Metro in its Telegram channel.

Among the designers were Belarusian architects, designers, and sculptors: A. Telyapnyova, U. Telyapnev, A. Kuzmich, M. Zhvirblya, M. Tarletskaya, and P. Voinitsky. A great deal of work on creating the current unique appearance of 'Kavalskaya Slabada' was carried out by representatives of the Minskmetraprojekt team.

The organizing committee received about 300 applications from 21 cities, including Minsk, Anshan, Harbin, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Penza, Perm, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, and others.
