The new facility is located at Leninskaya Street, 34. An entrance arch has already been installed on the territory, and landscaping work continues. As reported by the Telegram channel "Mogilev — My City", the main feature of the new site will be a climbing wall in the shape of a bear — one of the symbols of Russian Yaroslavl.
Yaroslavl Courtyard will not be the first similar project for Mogilev. In recent years, several themed spaces named after Russian cities have already appeared in the central part of the city.
Among them are Moscow Courtyard on Leninskaya Street, Tula Courtyard on Budyonnogo Street, and Khabarovsk Courtyard on Pionerskaya Street. All of them are located relatively close to each other.
Thus, after the opening of the new facility, Mogilev will have four public spaces associated with Russian cities.
Authorities explain the appearance of such facilities by interregional cooperation between Belarusian and Russian cities. It is in this context that new elements of urban space with Russian symbolism or names regularly appear in Mogilev.
