Seven people rescued at fire in Grodno, one woman died

In Grodno, a fire occurred during the day in a five-story residential building on Pushkin Street. When EMERCOM units arrived at the scene , flames were already erupting from the windows of the first-floor apartment.

During reconnaissance in the corridor of the burning apartment, rescuers found a woman. She was carried out into the fresh air and handed over to medics. The injured woman was hospitalized.

In one of the rooms of the apartment, the owner of the dwelling was found without signs of life.

From apartments on the upper floors, EMERCOM employees rescued six more people, including two children. Special masks for respiratory protection were used for evacuation. Medical assistance was not required for those rescued.

The fire was extinguished. The causes of the fire are currently being investigated.
