In the Grodno region, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are eliminating the consequences of the severe bad weather that swept through the region. The damage was caused by a thunderstorm front accompanied by strong winds. Wind gusts reached 17 meters per second, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports .

According to operational data, the natural disaster caused at least 19 cases of fallen trees. The most affected areas were Dyatlovsky, Voronovsky, and Smorgonsky districts. Trees felled by the wind blocked areas and required prompt intervention from rescue services.
In the Dyatlovsky district, trees fell on residential buildings and damaged the roofs of two private residential buildings. There is no information about serious structural damage to the houses, but roof damage requires repair.
According to the currently available data, no one was injured as a result of the thunderstorm and strong winds.
