The District Court in Sosnowiec on July 9 sentenced Russian oppositionist Igor Rogov to seven years in prison, and his wife Irina to three years.

Rogov's harsh sentence is explained by serious accusations: he was found guilty of espionage and participation in sending a package with explosives. Irina Rogova was found guilty of aiding and abetting espionage.
The trials of the Russians were held behind closed doors, inaccessible to the press.
According to the investigation, from February to August 2022, Rogov collaborated with the FSB — collecting information about representatives of the Russian opposition residing in Poland, as well as about people and organizations helping them.
The investigation believes that the man transferred the collected data to his wife on an encrypted electronic medium, and she forwarded it to FSB officers in Russia.
Also, according to the prosecutor's office, in July 2024, Rogov, along with two Ukrainian citizens and one Russian citizen, participated in sending a package with dangerous cargo and organizing its receipt.
The investigation claims that the shipment contained explosive devices and materials, including nitroglycerin. The package was confiscated from a courier service warehouse before it was delivered to the recipient.

Более того, там подтверждается, что "пасылка з небяспечным грузам" существовала и приводятся дополнительные детали о её происхождении.
