A 49-year-old resident of Babruysk was found unconscious at home, with a bottle of solvent lying nearby. The man was taken to the hospital with severe methanol and acetone poisoning, but doctors could not save him.
The man had a visual impairment. According to the results of the investigation, he drank the dangerous technical liquid accidentally, reported the State Forensic Examination Committee.
Despite medical care, the man died five weeks later.
The Investigative Committee found no criminal nature in the man's death.
