Trump named the reason for refusing Ukraine a license for Patriot missiles
The US President backed out of a promise to allow Ukraine to produce Patriot missiles due to concerns that the technology could be used against Washington, reports The New York Times.

During a meeting with his cabinet at the Camp David residence, the American leader stated that he changed his decision because it is "difficult to transfer this kind of technology," and also due to the risk that "the people to whom you transfer the technology may one day use it against you."
"You look at war — that's happened several times over the years. So we have to be very careful. We protect that," the publication quotes the US President.
