It became known when the third transport ring will be built in Minsk
Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev announced plans for the creation of the third transport ring in Minsk. According to him, the project is planned to be implemented within the next three years.

Vladimir Kukharev noted that transport logistics remains one of the main issues for the capital. Around 900 thousand cars are registered in Minsk, and more than 200 thousand cars additionally enter the city daily.
Currently, the capital has two transport rings and the MKAD. The new, third ring should ensure more convenient movement of transport around the city.
According to Kukharev, the main problematic sections are related to places where roads intersect with railway tracks and the Svislach River, and where there are not enough overpasses yet.
The construction of one of them — at the intersection of Kalesnikava and Timiryazeva streets — has already begun. They plan to complete the work there in 2026.
Furthermore, for the full functioning of the third transport ring, they plan to build three more overpasses. They should ensure continuous traffic flow without intersections with railways and other obstacles.
