YouTube again blocked one of the channels of STB TV channel. This time – simply during a live broadcast
The propagandist talk show "In Essence", dedicated to the official Day of National Unity, was banned.
«Just now, in the midst of discussing the Day of National Unity and historical truth, the IT giant blocked our account,» — STB stated.
STB representatives called the blocking of their ability to spread propaganda on YouTube a manifestation of information warfare.
After the broadcast stopped, the TV channel announced that it continues broadcasting the program on alternative platforms — on the social network «VKontakte» and on Videobel.
Later it also became known about the deletion from YouTube of channels «Radio Culture BY», «Radio Stolitsa» and the First Channel of Belarusian Radio.
This is not the first time YouTube has blocked Belarusian state media. In early April 2026, the platform deleted the channels ONT, STB and BelTA. The same fate soon befell the new STB channel as well.
