Experts established the cause of death of three people whose bodies were found in Bykhov
The incident occurred on August 6.
In the evening, the district police department received a report from a local resident that her neighbors were not responding, and an unpleasant smell was coming from the apartment. Police officers who arrived at the scene found three deceased people in the house.
For identification, forensic experts conducted a dactyloscopic examination. The citizens abused alcoholic beverages, led an antisocial lifestyle, reports the State Committee of Forensic Examinations.
According to the expert's conclusions, death occurred as a result of acute ethylene glycol poisoning. This was confirmed by the presence of the substance in blood, urine, muscle tissue, and internal organs, as well as numerous calcium oxalate crystals in the lumens of the renal tubules. The poisoning occurred due to the effect of ethylene glycol in excessive concentration shortly before death.
The contents of bottles confiscated from the house were also examined. Ethylene glycol was also found in the liquid of one of them, which, by the way, is widely used in the production of automotive technical fluids, such as antifreeze and Tosol.
