An armed conflict broke out between the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) and the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) on the territory of a sanatorium over rights to the area.
On the evening of December 3, GUR fighters entered the territory of the sanatorium, "knocking down the gates and breaking the fence, firing small arms into the air and ground."

According to sources of "UP", about 70 people from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, wearing masks and in full combat gear, on military vehicles, broke down the gates, damaged the fence, and entered the territory of the sanatorium, firing firearms into the air and ground.
About 10 Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen were taken hostage and detained. 21 people sustained bodily injuries of varying degrees.
The cause of the conflict is the territory of the sanatorium. Intelligence claims that the Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen occupied the sanatorium illegally, but both sides of the conflict have the rights to lease it.
According to available data, the owner of the disputed land plot, with whom the Main Intelligence Directorate has an agreement, is a company from the orbit of businessmen Boris Kaufman and Alexander Granovsky. The entrepreneurs want to build up the territory of the sanatorium.
The Main Intelligence Directorate fighters released the prisoners and barricaded themselves on the territory.
They refused to allow representatives of law enforcement and military state bodies onto the territory. According to the "UP" interlocutor, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Alexander Syrsky, arrived at the scene.
