American actor of Japanese origin, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, has died at the age of 75, Deadline reports, citing his family.
He died from complications of a stroke in Santa Barbara, California, surrounded by his children.
Tagawa played the role of the sorcerer Shang Tsung in the Mortal Kombat films based on the video game of the same name, in which he voiced the character. In addition, Tagawa is known for his roles in the films "The Last Emperor", "Memoirs of a Geisha", "License to Kill", "Pearl Harbor", "Planet of the Apes", "Elektra", "47 Ronin".

His last major role was in the series "The Man in the High Castle". He played the character Nobusuke Tagomi, the Minister of Trade of the Pacific States of America.
