Ex-figure skater of Belarusian national team permanently disqualified over sexual assault case
The American sports safety center SafeSport has permanently barred figure skater Ivan Dziasiatau, who previously represented the Belarusian national team, from competitions, reports "Tribuna".
The reason was a complaint from Salen Mazing, a French figure skater of the Estonian national team, about sexual assault after a tournament in Croatia in December 2023.
Dziasiatau previously competed for Russia, then for Belarus, and since 2022 continued his career in the USA.
