Meteorologist Dzmitry Rabaŭ announced that real winter will indeed come to Belarus. According to him, already next week, from December 22 to 28, the weather will gradually begin to change: temperatures in most regions will consistently drop below freezing, and precipitation will mainly be in the form of snow, leading to the formation of a snow cover.

At the beginning of the week, cloudy weather with rain and wet snow will persist, with fog, black ice, and slippery roads possible in places. On Monday night, temperatures are expected to be from -3 to +2°C, during the day - up to +4°C. On Tuesday, temperatures will fluctuate from -2 to +3°C.
From the middle of the week, no significant precipitation is forecast, but at night and in the morning, fog and icy conditions will appear in places. On Wednesday night, the thermometer will drop to -7°C, and during the day in different regions, it will be from -1 to -8°C.
On Christmas, December 25, frosts will intensify: at night, the temperature will be from -5 to -11°C, during the day - from -2 to -8°C. On Friday, it will get slightly warmer, but still with negative values.
On the weekend, short-term precipitation, fog, and slippery roads are possible in places. At night, temperatures can drop to -10°C, staying within -3…-6°C during the day. On Sunday, the air will not warm up above -5°C.
