Former head coach of BATE and Moscow CSKA, Viktor Goncharenko, has been appointed head coach of the Belarus national team. This was reported by the insider channel "Insides from Karp".

According to the channel's information, the specialist has agreed on a contract with the ABFF until December 2027 with a monthly salary of 20,000 euros.
Aliaksandr Yermakovich will join Goncharenko's coaching staff – he left his position as head coach of Brest "Dynamo" to join the national team.
Viktor Goncharenko will return from vacation on December 20 and will sign the agreement with the federation after that, confirms the Russian channel.
Viktor Goncharenko is one of the most famous Belarusian coaches. His career began at BATE Borisov, with whom he became the country's champion several times and led the club to the group stage of the Champions League.
After his successes in Belarus, he worked in Russia, leading CSKA, "Krasnodar", "Kuban", "Ufa", "Ural", "Pari NN".
