Longlist Announced for the Mikhal Anempadystau Award — 2026
The jury of the Mikhal Anempadystau Award has selected 24 book covers that made it to the 2026 longlist.

They were selected from 59 works submitted to the competition and represent a wide spectrum of contemporary Belarusian book design — from laconic minimalism to complex visual systems, from refined work with typography to bold graphic experiments, writes penbelarus.org.

The award is named after the outstanding Belarusian artist, designer, poet, and culturologist Mikhal Anempadystau, who significantly influenced the visual culture of Belarus. Established in 2019, the award continues to honor his creative legacy, recognizing authors who create new visual stories through book cover design.
