Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah has arrived in Turkey to sign a contract with local club Trabzonspor. This was reported by the club's press service on X.

Salah played for Liverpool since 2017. With the club, he became English champion twice (2019/2020, 2024/2025), won the Champions League (2019), and also won the Club World Cup, FA Cup, EFL Cup, and others. He played 315 matches, scoring 191 goals. He became the top scorer in the English Premier League four times.
He also played for Roma, Fiorentina, and Chelsea. Salah's first club in Europe was Swiss side Basel. In 2013, the Egyptian was recognized as the best player in Switzerland, after which he moved to Chelsea.
Trabzonspor finished third in the Turkish championship last season.
